Our DH, the most clutch man in baseball, is now on the DL. All that good mojo is now benched!

Papi said felt a pop when he took that fated swing. All of Red Sox Nation is hoping that he’s out for only 3-4 weeks and not the entire season.  God forbid its a season ending. All the Yankee fans will come out of the woodwork where they’ve been hiding as their team has been fighting the rip tide that’s pulling them towards the  basement of the AL East. There’s nothing more irritating than Yankee fans who have lived in Maine their entire lives suddenly sensing a weakness in the Sox and voicing their uneducated opinions on the demise of their bitter rivals.

But enough about those I consider several notches down the intelligence food chain.

I don’t believe we have anything to worry about. The team is fine. We have more depth than most any team in the league. I’m not panicking. Perhaps its the 2 World Championships we’ve recently collected that’s calmed my nerves. Perhaps its the Yankees 6+ cames out of first with a AAA pitching staff. Perhaps its bottle of Jack I just drank…just kidding.

We’re good. We’ll be fine. Papi will be back in July and we’ll be in first. The only thing that will suffer is my prediction on his number of home runs for the season. I can live with that.
